Everything and Anything about Tiong Lian

The all-time Tiong Lian record for most points score in one game is 64, which Xavier School’s Eric Yao
registered against Uno High School during the 1998 season when he led the Golden Stallions to the
Juniors Division title.

During the Finals, Xavier School defeated Chiang Kai Shek, 2-0. Yao knocked in 54 points in the series-
clinching Game Two. For the season, he hit at a 45.8-point clip.

Yao went on to play for the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines
(UAAP). His collegiate career, however, was cut short by a knee injury.
