NOTES: Since 2006, when St. Jude Catholic School rejoined the Tiong Lian, Xavier has beaten SCJS 11 straight times. The two teams had met in the Finals in each of the last two seasons. Xavier School is looking for its 11th straight Finals trip that will tie them with Chiang Kai Shek College, which went to the Finals from 1985 to 1995.

NOTES: Hope Christian HS is looking for its first Finals trip since 1993 when it beat Chiang Kai Shek College to win the title. Coaching Hope Christian HS at the time is current bench boss Stevenson Tiu, who also was a player for the 1981 Hope Christian TL championship team (once scoring 49 points) and also was the head coach of HCHS’s 1983 TL title squad. Chiang Kai Shek College last reached the Finals in 2008 when the Blue Dragons lost to Xavier School in three games. Chiang Kai Shek College owns the most number of TL titles with 14.
