XAVIER ASPIRANTS UP, 1-0
Xavier School took game 1 of the best-of-three Aspirants Division Finals with an 88-66 rout of Chiang Kai Shek College.
Four players scored in double figures for XS – Ian Lipio, 15 points; Aldrich Tan, 13; Tyler Tio, 13; and Jeff Tan, 12.
Jayson Jimenez topscored for CKSC with 19 points, followed by Vinci Yasul, 14; and Eduard Tan, 12.
Game 2 is scheduled for Feb.14.
Xavier, which owns an 18-game winning streak over three seasons, is bidding to capture its ninth straight title in the Aspirants Division.
