NINTH STRAIGHT TITLE FOR XAVIER ASPIRANTS!

Xavier School got 25 points from Tyler Tio, 16 from Jeff Tan and 14 from Aldrich Tan as the Golden Stallions beat Chiang Kai Shek College, 83-72, in Game 2 of the Aspirants Division Finals.

CKSC, which was led by Jayson Jimenez’s 21 points, reportedly will place the game under protest.

CKSC claimed that three Xavier Aspirants players suited up for the San Juan team in the NCR games earlier in the morning, which allegedly is a violation of Tiong Lian rules.

XS also took the best-of-three series opener, 88-66.

If the protest is not officially filed within 24 hours, Xavier School will be claiming its ninth straight title in the Aspirants Division.
