NOTES: Xavier School led from start to finish, racing to a 14-0 lead (seven by Jeron Teng, two each by Caesar Angelo Wongchuking, Abram Vera Cruz and Kyles Lao and a free throw by Donal Ong) before Janrey Garrdio hit a triple for Hope Christian. Elijah Tancauco sandwiched a three by Donal Ong with five straight points as Hope Christian sliced its deficit to a single digit, 30-21. Xavier School put together another 8-0 run (including four straight by Bryan Tan) to go ahead, 38-21. A 13-6 blast (capped by a Garrido basket) by Hope Christian trimmed its deficit to 10 points, 44-34. Hope Christian trailed 48-37 at halftime following a Joshua Go three at the buzzer. Both Christian Errol Villar and King Benemerito were held scoreless in the first half. Kyles Lao opened the third quarter with eight consecutive points as Xavier took a commanding 56-37 lead. Xavier School was ahead by at least 16 points (64-48, 66-50, 68-52) throughout the second half and entered the fourth period with a 77-53 advantage on back-to-back threes by Bryan Tan and Paolo Cabero. Hope Christian got no closer than 21 points in the fourth quarter (84-63 on a Joshua Go three, 91-70 on a Jessiery Pedrosa three-point play, and 93-72 on a Garrido basket). With a balanced offensive power, Xavier School produced 12 players with at least two points.
